Is Xuper TV the new Magis TV?

Yes. Xuper TV is the official successor. When Magis TV stopped working, development continued under the Xuper TV name with the same kind of service.

Can I update Magis TV to Xuper TV directly?

No. They are separate apps with different package names, so Android treats Xuper TV as a brand-new install, not an upgrade.

Will my Magis TV favorites transfer to Xuper TV?

Not automatically. There is no shared account between the two apps, so rebuild your favorites list in Xuper TV after installing.

Is Magis TV still working?

The original Magis TV service went dark, which is why the successor exists. Old installs may open but their streams no longer load reliably.

Xuper TV vs Magis TV: What Changed After the Switch

One sentence of history

Magis TV was one of the most-used free streaming APKs of its era. When it stopped working, the project continued under a new name: Xuper TV. Same concept, new package, active development. If you are arriving from the Magis TV days, you already know 90 percent of how this app works.

What stayed the same

The core idea. Free live TV, movies and series in one Android app, no account.
The layout language. Channel lists, category tabs, a favorites section and a built-in player will all feel familiar.
The device spread. Phones, Android TV, Firestick and TV boxes, same as before.

What changed

The package name. Xuper TV ships as com.msandroid.mobile, which means Android sees it as a different app. You cannot "update" Magis TV into Xuper TV; install fresh and delete the old one when you are done.

Moving over: the 10-minute migration

Install Xuper TV fresh from the official download page. Do not uninstall Magis TV yet.
Open both apps side by side and re-add your must-have channels to Xuper TV favorites. There is no import button.
Run both for a few days. When Xuper TV has proven itself on your network, uninstall Magis TV to avoid confusion and free storage.

Should you switch?

If Magis TV still opens for you, its streams are on borrowed time; the backend it depended on is gone. Moving to Xuper TV is less a choice than a recognition of where development actually happens now. Start with what Xuper TV is if you want the full picture first.
