What Is Xuper TV? The Free Streaming App Explained

What is Xuper TV, exactly?

Xuper TV is a free streaming app for Android that puts live TV channels, movies, TV series and sports in one place. The file you install is called the Xuper TV APK, and on this site we publish it under the name Super TV APK, which is the official download page for this exact build. It runs on Android phones and tablets, on Android TV and Google TV, and on the Amazon Firestick, which is why it shows up in so many "best streaming app" conversations.

Think of it as three apps in one shell. Open it and you get a live TV section with hundreds of channels, a movies section with on-demand films, and a series section with episodes organized by season. A sports crowd uses it for live matches, and there is a kids corner with parental controls. Everything is free inside the app, with no account needed.

Where did Xuper TV come from?

Xuper TV is the official successor to Magis TV. If you used Magis TV before it went dark, the story will feel familiar: same idea, new name, continued development. We explain the full handover, what changed and what stayed the same, in our Xuper TV vs Magis TV comparison. The short version is that your old playlists and habits transfer over, but the two apps cannot be installed as upgrades of each other, so treat Xuper TV as a fresh install.

What can you watch?

The catalog mixes four kinds of content:

Live TV. Hundreds of channels across news, sports, movies, kids and international feeds, with a program guide so you can see what is on now and next.
Movies. On-demand films from Hollywood blockbusters to Latin American cinema, with multiple servers when one stream is slow.
TV series. Full seasons with episode lists, continue-watching memory and subtitles in several languages.
Sports. Live matches and sports channels, which is the section that spikes in traffic every weekend.

Channel and title availability shifts over time as sources rotate, so treat any exact number you see quoted online as a snapshot, not a promise. Our channel list guide walks through how the sections are organized.

Is it safe and legal to install?

Two different questions. On safety: the file we host is the exact build our analyst Nina Patel installed and tested on real devices, scanned and signature-checked. Read the full breakdown in Is Xuper TV Safe? before you install anything from anywhere. On legality: streaming apps like this one aggregate streams from many sources, and what is legal to watch depends on your country and on the specific channel. We cannot give legal advice, so check your local rules and stick to content you are sure about.

Which version do you need?

This is the number one source of confusion, so we gave it its own guide: TV vs mobile version explained. The short version: phones and tablets use the mobile build (v6.5.7, the 48.7 MB file on our download page), while Android TV, Google TV and TV boxes use a separate TV build with a remote-friendly interface. Installing the phone build on a TV works, but navigation is awkward, so pick the build made for your screen.

The bottom line

Xuper TV earns its reputation by doing the simple thing well: one free app, no account, live TV plus movies plus series on every Android screen you own. If that sounds like what you are after, grab the verified file from the Super TV APK official download page and follow our step-by-step install guide to get running in minutes.
